Unity Game Developer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Meeting with the design team to discuss platform ideas and specifications
• Explore new technologies and solve cutting edge technical challenges
• Understand project requirements, elicit feedback, and refine solutions accordingly
• Work with engineers and other team members to architect and scope feature details
• Work diligently in a virtual team environment and/or locally, with leaders and teammates located nationwide
• Share and facilitate knowledge and understanding of the latest techniques and tools within the team and the studio
• Ask questions, critique others work constructively, and ideate a virtual environment's overall design, in order to raise product quality
• Transforming design ideas into functional games
• Designing and building game codes, patches and upgrades with perfect documentation and test scripts
• Collaborate with producers and developers on organizing assets and building a database
• Optimize games as necessary to support performance of concurrent applications and interface responsiveness


WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field preferred but not required
• 3+ years of Unity 3D development experience with a strong portfolio
• Fluent in C#
• Solid understanding and experience with Unity WebGL build
• Familiarity with Unity and the workflow of incorporating 3D assets
• Experience with Git and version control conflict resolution in Unity3D
• Experience with AR/VR development with tracking, and display systems is a bonus
• Experience with at least 1 shipped title as a Lead 3D Artist or equivalent which we can play or download
• Completed performance optimization for at least 3 Unity games (WebGL build preferred)
• Worked in a project where the app has both unity and native code (swift or java)
• Experience writing or modifying shaders using HLSL
• Experience developing UI/UX, audio, and/or 3D modeling
• SDK development experience
• Comprehensive understanding of component-based development
• Knowledge of integrated game physics
• Experience with mobile and desktop user input mechanics and interaction design
• Experience integrating cloud services, APIs, and other backend technologies into a game is a bonus
• Worked in non-standard Unity projects before
• Strong communication skills
• Perfect English, both writing and speaking
• Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision while also being a great team player
• Excellent attention to detail
